Howard Park Wines 2023 Leston Margaret River Shiraz has won the Max Schubert AM Trophy for Most Outstanding Red Wine at the 2025 Royal Adelaide Wine Show.
The wine also won the Best Shiraz in Show and Best Shiraz 2023 Vintage and Younger trophies.
In a solid showing from Margaret River, Evans & Tate was awarded the George Fairbrother Memorial Trophy for Most Outstanding White Wine in Show, while Stella Bella, Deep Woods Estate and Millbrook Winery each collected major trophies.
Langhorne Creek producer Lake Breeze received the Gramp, Hardy, Hill-Smith Prize for National Wine of Provenance for its Arthur’s Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon.
The Usual Suspects Collective’s Vickery Reserve Watervale Riesling was awarded the Governor’s Trophy for Best South Australian White Wine in Show, while Purple Hands took home the Best South Australian Red Wine in Show for its Barossa Valley Grenache.
A $6 wine – Dee Vine Estate 2025 The Drover Riverina Pinot Grigio – won Best Pinot Gris/Grigio.
