Mollydooker owner Sarah Marquis has tested positive for coronavirus.
Sarah says on Facebook, “We’re hoping you are all doing well at this time and practising strict hygiene and isolation rules so we can put a stop to this pandemic.
“As many of us have worked out, this is the only way we will stop the spread.
“The reason why I am saying this is that unfortunately, I’ve recently become one of the thousands of people in the world to test positive with COVID-19.
“Having arrived back from the US two weeks ago, I went straight into self-isolation, so can only assume I picked it up at the tail end of my trip.”
The good news is her symptoms are very mild, and she is able to work from home.
“I will however continue to self-isolate until I am given the all clear by medical professionals,” Sarah says.
“Luke (Sarah’s son) has also been staying home since he returned from his US trip, and although he has tested negative he is taking care to self-isolate and will have a follow up test just in case.
“Holly (daughter) is staying with family friends and is safe and well also.
“Unfortunately, this means we have to postpone our Virtual Tastings to be held next week. While we’re excited to bring a tasting to you at home, Luke and I want to ensure we’re safe to be together and feeling in the best of spirits so you can have the ultimate Mollydooker experience you deserve!”
In the meantime, Mollydooker wines are available online.
“We deliver throughout Australia and the US. We certainly have enough wine to keep you all going for a while,” Sarah says.
“We’re all facing challenging times, and my thoughts are with all of our friends, customers and the wider community who are experiencing the effects of this virus.
“Please take care, look out for our family, friends and neighbours and most importantly, stay home where possible.”
