
King’s Reach is a new premium wine brand featuring small batch releases from treasured old vine sites across Victoria’s most celebrated subregions including Sunbury, King Valley and Heathcote.
The wines are crafted by Marnong Estate in Sundbury and the launch range includes a Prosecco and a Pinot Grigio from the King Valley and a Sparkling Brut from Sunbury.
They retail for $30 each and are available from Marnong Estate and via selected retailers.
They will release a Sunbury Shiraz and Heathcote Shiraz in April.
“The wines are produced in partnership with families and growers from these regions to protect mature vineyards and keep vines in the ground, ensuring their legacy continues while also giving their knowledge and expertise of the site the respect it deserves,” says Alex Beckett, director of wine at Marnong Estate.
“The result is wine with provenance – the King’s Reach range offers pure regional expressions with old-vine nuance, delivering a vibrant panorama of styles that capture Victoria’s remarkable depth, diversity and enduring viticultural heritage in every glass.
“Partnering with other Victorian growers to produce King’s Reach has allowed us to utilise their historical expertise of the land – delivering wines with a unique personality that are a testament to the regions from which the grapes originate.”
