Juniper Estate 2024 Cornerstone Karridale Chardonnay has won Best Wine of the Show at the Perth Royal Wine Awards.
The wine also won Best White Wine, Best WA Wine and Best Chardonnay.
Second generation owner and CEO of Juniper Estate, Tom Hill, said the awards are great recognition of 27 years of hard work.
“We have a great team of people in the Juniper family – Andy making incredible wines, and Ianto Ward our viticulturist, who is very passionate about sustainability, soil health and the vines,” Hill said.
Overall, 21 trophies were awarded to 16 wineries from four states.
Western Australian producers shone brightest, taking home 10 trophies across the Margaret River and Swan Valley wine regions, reflecting the strength and diversity of our wine industry.
Along with the trophies, 103 gold medals, 176 silver medals and 378 bronze medals were awarded.
Head judge Steve Flamsteed said, “The breadth and quality of wines entered in 2025 were outstanding.
“Across all varieties, from Chardonnay and Shiraz to Sparkling and Fortified, the judges were impressed by wines that showed both regional distinctiveness and world-class winemaking.
“The winning wines stood out for their balance, precision and deliciousness – they are a credit to their makers and to Australia’s wine industry.”
