Lallemand has been named Supplier of the Year at the 2025 Wine Industry Impact Awards hosted by the Wine Industry Suppliers Association (WISA) in Adelaide.
The company also won the Winemaking & Oenology Award.
The awards night was officially opened by Justin Hanson MLC, who highlighted the importance of collaboration and innovation across the wine industry.
WISA executive chair Liz Schoen said, “Tonight we celebrate the remarkable talent, innovation and collaboration that drives our industry forward.
“I want to especially thank our expert panel of judges, who faced the challenging task of comparing nominations that were so diverse – a true reflection of our multifaceted industry where art, science, innovation and collaboration intersect.
“The scoring was extremely close across all categories, and every finalist submitted a worthy nomination.
“I strongly encourage winemakers, owners, brand managers and anyone looking to optimise their 2026 vintage to read more about these innovations and reach out to me if you would like introductions.”
WISA is celebrating 25 years as an association. Schoen also recognised past WISA leaders, paying tribute to inaugural chair Don Woolman and founding committee member Geoff Scharhinger, both of whom have passed away in recent years.
She noted that Graeme Lowe, a founding committee member had recently reflected on WISA’s origins – an organisation created to give suppliers a united voice and acknowledge their vital role in the industry.
Schoen highlighted that this impact remains significant today, with ‘Wine Australia’s Economic Contribution of the Australian Wine Sector 2025 report showing that two-thirds of the sector’s $51.3 billion output is generated by suppliers.
