South Australian wine producer Atlas Wines has bought Schild Estate’s Valley of Hope winery in the Barossa.
“The sale includes the purpose-built 1,000 tonne Barossa Valley winery and finished goods warehouse located on the outskirts of Lyndoch,” Toby Langley from Langley & Co says.
South Australian wine producer CW Wines has bought the Schild Estate brand and inventory.
“CW Wines very much look forward to continuing the legacy that the Schild family has built over many years, and working with the family who will continue to grow the fruit that makes the wines that have built this enviable reputation,” Toby says.
The CW Wines portfolio includes Reschke and Schoolhouse from Coonawarra and Ulithorne from McLaren Vale.
The company also owns the Stonehaven winery and vineyards in the Limestone Coast.
Atlas Wines currently produces wines from Clare, the Barossa and the Adelaide Hills.
Schild Estate was put on the market in August 2022.
