Seppeltsfield in the Barossa won a gold medal in the 2024 Qantas Australian Tourism Awards, in the ‘Tourism Wineries, Breweries and Distilleries’ category.

Managing director Steven Trigg said: “It is absolutely brilliant for Seppeltsfield to be crowned the Best Tourism Winery, Brewery, Distillery in Australia.

“A testament to our unique and diverse tourism offering, with wine sitting at the heart of this.

“Receiving this award on home soil is so very special and representing South Australia and the Barossa is an honour!

“Most of all, I am proud of our team, who are dedicated to delivering truly world class experiences across our estate.”

The awards – celebrating 40 years – were held at the Adelaide Convention Centre and recognised business excellence across 26 categories.

Bangor Vineyard Shed in Tasmania won Silver in the same category, Singlelife Wines in Western Australia won Bronze and finalists were Bundaberg Rum Visitor Experience in Queensland, Cupitt’s Estate in NSW, Harman Wines in Victoria and Willing Distillery in NT.
