New MD for Vinarchy Australia and New Zealand

Vinarchy has appointed Nicole Battistessa as managing director of Australia and New Zealand.

She will oversee commercial operations and distribution of the company’s leading wine brands including Jacob’s Creek, Hardys, Stoneleigh, Brancott Estate, Petaluma, St Hallett and Croser.

Ms Battistessa brings more than 25 years of experience in leading global FMCG companies including Nestlé, Unilever and Kimberly-Clark.

She has held several senior executive roles across the Asia Pacific region, including managing director, Nestle Singapore and general manager, Purina Australia and New Zealand.

Vinarchy CEO Danny Celoni said, “I am thrilled to announce Nicole’s appointment to Vinarchy’s executive leadership team as we continue our mission to redefine wine, drive category expansion and deliver innovation at scale.”

“Nicole brings an impressive track record in driving growth across multiple consumer brand categories and markets.

“Her ability to deliver shared growth as a foundation for deep customer relationships and her strength in leading high performing teams will be incredibly valuable as we deliver our strategy.”

Ms Battistessa said: “I am excited to be joining Vinarchy as the company approaches its one-year milestone.

“With our exceptional portfolio offering, a dynamic innovation pipeline and an outstanding team, I can’t wait to partner with our customers and make a real impact as we take the wine category forward together.”

Ms Battistessa will join Vinarchy in early March.

Vinarchy was established in 2025 after the merger of Accolade Wines and Pernod Ricard Winemakers.
