Running with Bulls, a much-loved Australian wine brand since 2008, now comes in its first-ever Bagnum – a 1,500mL soft pack.
While the red wine Bagnum category has been dominated by Shiraz and Pinot Noir, Running with Bulls leads the charge by introducing Tempranillo to the mix, bringing the spicy, plush varietal into the spotlight alongside Grenache.
“Designed for the modern consumer, the Tempranillo Bagnum is ideal for younger drinkers and wine explorers seeking quality without compromise,” says Hill-Smith Family Estates, which owns the brand.
“It’s shareable, sessionable, and 90 percent lighter than glass – perfect for picnics, hikes or quiet nights in.
“The resealable Bagnum pack also stays fresh for up to 30 days after opening, compared to three to five days for a standard glass bottle, perfect for moderating consumption or smaller households, there’s no need to worry about waste.”
Launching alongside the Running with Bulls Tempranillo Bagnum is the new Bullish Shiraz – a classic Barossa Shiraz dialled up with a dash of Tempranillo for an unexpected kick of black pepper and warm brown spice.
“Crafted for the next generation of wine drinkers, Running with Bulls Tempranillo Bagnum and Bullish Shiraz combine bold flavours with disruptive packaging, making premium wine fun, fresh and totally unpretentious,” Hill-Smith Family Estates says.
Running with Bulls Tempranillo Bagnum ($40) and Bullish Shiraz ($21) are available nationwide at Dan Murphy’s stores and at smithswinestore.com.au.
