A varied program of 37 workshops will run on Sunday and Tuesday, covering viticulture, winemaking, business, technology and marketing themes.
The AWITC incorporates the Australian Grape & Wine Outlook Conference, which presents the latest wine business, policy, and marketing content, focusing on the future prosperity of the sector, as well as WineTech, the Australian wine industry’s most extensive and relevant trade exhibition.
WineTech is an essential part of the event, delivered in partnership with WISA (Wine Industry Suppliers Australia) and Expertise Events.
It will feature a comprehensive range of viticultural and winemaking equipment, materials and services.
The 19th AWITC is an event not to miss, with an extensive program filled with diverse and relevant subject matter, covering existing industry priorities plus future issues that may surface.
Every AWITC event provides opportunities to learn, network with peers and debate – the combination of this interaction and discussion always leaves our industry stronger, and participants with a range of new ideas to try within their businesses.
Held every three years since 1970, the Australian Wine Industry Technical Conference (AWITC) is presented through a partnership between the Australian Wine Research Institute (AWRI) and the Australian Society of Viticulture and Oenology (ASVO) and is the premier technical event for the Australian wine industry.
