The sale includes the brand and intellectual property along with some of its bottled and bulk wine stocks, according to The Advertiser.
It does not include the vineyards which are currently for sale.
“We hold the deepest respect for the late David Bruer, Mike Bruer and the Bruer family,” Victoria Angove told The Advertiser.
“David was a true visionary who built Temple Bruer into Australia’s leading voice in organic and preservative-free winemaking.
“His commitment to sustainability, integrity and innovation has left an enduring legacy.
“We are honoured to carry that work forward and will steward the Temple Bruer brand with care, respect and commitment.”
Administrator Andrew Heard told the newspaper, “The sale (of the brand) represents an excellent opportunity for the continued growth of the Temple Bruer brand.
“An expression of interest campaign commenced by the administrators in June 2026 attracted strong interest from parties across Australia.
“Following the sale of the group’s remaining assets, including the associated vineyards, the liquidators anticipate that healthy returns will be paid to creditors of the Temple Bruer group.”
