Consumer behaviour and wine marketing expert, Associate Professor Armando Corsi, is set to join the Adelaide Business School as lead of its Wine Business portfolio.
The University of Adelaide’s research expertise and its educational programs in grapegrowing and winemaking are among the very best in the world. Expert in marketing and consumer behaviour, Corsi will be able to bring together this capacity to provide an unrivalled proposition for Adelaide Business School’s Wine Business students and wine industry partners.
Associate Professor Corsi has strong and enduring research partnerships with national and international industry bodies and networks including Wine Australia, the Great Wine Capitals, and Wine Communicators of Australia.
“Associate Professor Corsi’s appointment signals an exciting future for Wine Business at the Adelaide Business School,” says Adelaide Business School Dean, Professor Noel Lindsay.

Corsi holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc), a Laurea Magistrale (specialisation degree course) from the University of Florence, as well as a PhD in Wine Economics and Rural Development. He has authored more than 70 refereed journal and trade articles on food and wine marketing and is the treasurer of the Academy of Wine Business Research (AWBR), and a member of the American Association of Wine Economists (AAWE).
Corsi is set to join the Adelaide Business School from the University of South Australia in July 2020.
