Calabria Family Wines is introducing 200ml ‘Minis’ bottles for its Belena Pinot Grigio, Moscato and Rose.
“There’s no question it’s a challenging time for the Australian wine industry, which makes innovation and staying relevant to today’s consumers more important than ever,” says Andrew Calabria.
“Belena has always done things a little differently, and the Minis are a natural extension of that.
“They give consumers more choice in how and when they enjoy wine, while opening up new occasions for the category.”
The smaller format launch comes as Belena continues to outperform the broader Australian wine market, with domestic sales growing 20 percent despite category decline.
Since launching in 2021, the brand has established leading positions across key varietals, including #1 Pinot Grigio and Montepulciano in the $15+ segment.
“The smaller format responds to consumer interest in convenience and moderation, while retaining the quality, flavour profile and premium presentation of the core range,” says Andrew.
“Pinot Grigio, Moscato and Rosé were selected for their fresh, approachable styles and suitability for summer occasions.
“Wine has traditionally been built around established formats and occasions, but there is an opportunity to think more broadly about where it fits.
“For us, innovation isn’t about changing wine for the sake of it. It’s about understanding how people are living and creating products and experiences that give them more choice.
“Belena gives us the freedom to explore that thinking.”
Belena Minis will be distributed nationally by the House of Fine Wine distribution network.
