A fundraising auction for leading Australian wine writer Philip White, who is having treatment for cancer at Flinders Medical Centre, will be held from 22 to 29 January 2019.
The auction is being facilitated by Langton’s and winemakers are invited to donate wine.
“We hope to raise funds to make this period a little smoother for Philip,” spokesman for the organisers Milton Wordley said.
“All proceeds will be going towards Whitey’s medical and associated expenses.
“We would love your support in the form of donations of wine.”

Wine needs to be delivered by Friday 21 December. Langton’s have requested full six-packs or dozens only with the exception of collector bottles or magnums. The wine needs to be labelled clearly.
Donations should not be sent to Langton’s. The wine will be forwarded to Langton’s as one shipment.

The auction will be unreserved, and there will be no vendor commission. The buyer’s premium and all hammer proceeds collected by Langton’s will go toward assisting Philip.
