St Hallett winery at Tanunda in the Barossa Valley has been listed for sale through Langley & Co.

This follows the announcement by Vinarchy in June that the winemaking would transfer to Rowland Flat before the next vintage.

St Hallett was established in 1944 by the Lindner family.

“This is a rare opportunity to acquire a high-performing, historically significant site in the heart of the Barossa,” Stephen Strachan from Langley & Co said.

“It is ideal for brand owners scaling up, contract winemaking operations and boutique producer syndicates.”

Vinarchy also announced in June that Hardys Tintara winemaking in McLaren Vale would shift to Rowland Flat before the 2027 vintage.

The St Hallett winery has a production capacity of 1,500 tonnes including 5,000 kL of storage.

The sale includes the cellar door.

The winery is for sale by expressions of interest closing on Friday 28 November at 5pm.

Vinarchy was established this year after the merger of Accolade Wines and Pernod Ricard Winemakers.
