Moores Hill Estate in Tasmania is for sale as a going concern including the vineyards, winery and cellar door.

“The business continues to trade strongly, with a loyal following in Tasmania and a building presence in the domestic wholesale markets,” Toby Langley from Langley & Co says.

“Known for Pinot Noir, Riesling, Chardonnay and sparkling wine, the estate offers a rare blend of lifestyle appeal and proven commercial performance.”

Toby says there is “balanced cellar door, wine club and wholesale sales”.

The premium property, in the Tamar Valley, includes 65 hectares of land on two titles.

The vines were planted in 1997 and the first wines were produced in 2003.

There are 5.6 hectares of established vines with a recent increase in Pinot Noir plantings (Pommard clone).

“There is significant scope for further vineyard plantings,” Toby says.

In 2017 Moores Hill Estate became the first winery in Tasmania to become 100 percent solar powered.
