The Wine Industry Impact Summit will be held at the National Wine Centre in Adelaide on Thursday 13 August.
Limited to 150 delegates, the event is presented by the Wine Industry Suppliers Association (WISA) with presenting partner Wine Australia.
Topics will cover sustainability in packaging, AI, winery operating systems and best practice innovation management.
Speakers include Caitlin Davies from the AWRI, Eveline Bartowsky from Lallemand Oenology, Heather MacKenzie from Affinity Labs and Jason Spiteri from Hill-Smith Family Estates.
“The challenges facing wine businesses today are complex, and no single part of the value chain has all the answers, which is exactly why we need suppliers, producers and researchers in the same room,” WISA executive chair Liz Schoen said.
“Whether you run a supplier business or lead a winery, our goal is simple: you leave with something tangible you can use to improve your business.
“The day is about productivity and profitability, learn how others have achieved success and how you could apply the principles to your business.
“A fresh perspective you hadn’t considered. A concept that saves your business money. Innovation funding you didn’t know you were eligible for.”
The Summit will close with a 20-minute structured, facilitated session that will openly discuss and document what it would take for research, suppliers and industry to work together differently?
The event will be followed by a networking dinner at Hut & Soul on Pulteney Street.
