Scott Hazeldine is the new chief executive officer of Barossa Australia.

He replaces James March who is moving to Rockford Wines.

“We are delighted to have Scott join us in this capacity as a leader of the organisation and highly value his deep connection and experience in the Barossa region,” Amanda Longworth said on behalf of the Board.

“Scott’s most recent role was the chief winemaker at Schild Estate.

“He has an extensive wine industry background with a global perspective, well-developed local connections, and a highly engaged sense of enthusiasm to undertake this next opportunity in his career.”

Scott will assume the role from Wednesday 26 April.

James will stay on for a short period to assist with a handover and transition.

Barossa Australia will soon announce the appointment of a new digital marketing manager.
