Prominent Barossa winery Murray Street Vineyards in Greenock is for sale.

Toop + Toop Rural describe it as “a rare opportunity to acquire one of the Barossa Valley’s most distinguished wine estates”.

The sale includes a 500-tonne boutique winery.

“Murray Street’s wine business offers a compelling turnkey proposition, comprising a modern well-equipped winery, a beautiful and highly rated cellar door, extensive vineyard assets and substantial supporting infrastructure.”

The land area of 137.60 hectares includes 93 hectares of vines.

There are 14 varietals planted with vine age ranging from four to 105 years.

Murray Street Vineyards was established in 2001 by US investment banker Bill Jahnke and Barossa winemaker Andrew Seppelt.

The winery produces 20,000 cases of wine a year, according to the Halliday Wine Companion.
